| Breeders Bull Games Guidelines and Rules |
Breeders Bull Games invites anyone to participate with their open events. We do ask that you do the
following if you have an event co-sanctioned with BGG.
• At least 1 sign with the BBG Logo and its information placed in a prominent position at each event.
• BBG Logo to be included in any advertising of the event, i.e. fliers, announcements, day sheets, etc.
• All Entries at the event will be recognized for their bulls.
Judges
• 4 Judges at each event
• Judges should be experienced in judging futurities, derbies, etc.
• Bulls will be scored 1-25 points in five categories, kick, spin, buck, degree of intensity and difficulty
• Event results and a copy of all Judges' sheets will be sent to the BBG office within 24 hours from the
close of the event.
• Judges decisions are FINAL.
Identification
All bulls must be branded with a permanent ID number. BBG reserves the right to disqualify a bull due to
discrepancies with the identification of a bull entered.
Age Verification
If there is a question about a bull's age entered in the event, which has placed in the money, anyone may
"challenge" the owner of the bull to prove the age through veterinary age verification. The challenger will put
up $500 as well as the bull owner.
Horns
All bulls entered MUST have their horns tipped. Any bulls arriving without tipped horns will be disqualified
and entry fees forfeited. NO BULLS WILL BE TIPPED AT THE EVENT.
Health Requirements
Bulls entered in a BBG event must have Brucellosis and T.B in accordance with local and state animal health
laws for which the event is held. Contact your local veterinarian for requirements for different states.
Dummies
Each participant will bring their own dummy, mount the dummy on their bulls or assign someone to do so for
them.
Mannequin Events
Mannequins will be supplied by BBG for the 3 yr old derby bull events bucking with mannequins.
Electrical Devices, Foreign Objects
Any and all electrical devices used to stimulate the animal are not permitted for the use inside the bucking
chute. Foreign objects in the flank will not be allowed or tolerated. Any owner not adhering to this rule is
subject to disqualification of the animal involved in the particular incident and /or total disqualification from
the competition completely in its entirety and forfeiture of any and all entry fees.
Bull Housing/Check In
All bulls entered in the event will be housed in pens provided by the event management. Bulls must be
CHECKED IN by the prescribed time for that particular event. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Payout
BBG will make every effort to pay out 70% at its events. This will be dependent on the specific event. Each
event payout is subject to change due to disqualifications or withdrawals and will be finalized after check in.
Entry Fees
• Entry Fees will be determined by event producer and BBG and will be event specific.
• Entry will not be accepted without payment and will not be considered entered until fees are PAID.
Bad Checks
In the event a participant pays his or her fees with a check that returned for any reason, will result in a $50
fee and replacement with cash or cashier's check.
Right of Refusal
While every effort to accommodate each participant and event producer will be made, it is important to note
that Breeders Bull Games, INC. is a private company. Breeders Bull Games reserves the right to elect
not to conduct business with whomever it chooses.
Hold Harmless
The promoters, participants and spectators at bovine/rodeo type activity realize the risk inherent in such
activities and hold harmless the BBG and anyone connected with the BBG for any injury or death of any
person or animal involved in any BBG approved activity.
Futurity Bulls
Futurity Bulls will be held in two (2) different age classes:
• 1 Year Olds
• 2 Year Olds
• 1 Year olds will be bucked 4 seconds with a dummy.
• 2 Year olds will be bucked 5 seconds with a dummy.
• Owners will bring their own dummies.
• Judges will consist of 4 Judges that will mark the bulls on their performance.
• Owners will mount their own dummies.
• No RE-BUCKS
3 Yr Old Derby Bulls
• 3 Yr Olds will be bucked 6 seconds (those events using mannequins)
• Events using Bull Riders, bulls will be mounted by bull riders attempting an eight (8) second bull ride.
• Each bull will be scored from 0-25 points on the bulls performance while mounted by a rider or
mannequin.
• Re-Bucks for bulls mounted by bull riders: Re bucks will be allowed only if in the opinion of any judge
the animal had no chance to perform due to situations outside the control of the animal itself or its flank man.
• Bucking order will be determined by randon draw of owner and chute delivery.
• Judges decisions are FINAL
